JavaScript is a programming language that allows you to implement complex things on web pages — every time a web page does more than just sit there and display static information for you to look at — displaying timely content updates, or interactive maps, or animated 2D/3D graphics, or scrolling video jukeboxes, etc. — you can bet that JavaScript is probably involved. It is the third layer of the layer cake of standard web technologies, two of which (HTML and CSS) we have covered in much more detail in other parts of the Learning Area.

It’s a fun language and in recent years has grown to have industry support and some really cool frameworks for web development have come outJavaScript allows you to build interactive websites. JavaScript has become an essential web technology along with HTML and CSS, as most browsers implement JavaScript.
Furthermore, JavaScript usage has now extended to mobile app development, desktop app development, and game development. All in all, it has exploded in popularity and is now a very useful skill to learn.
Javascript having many frameworks, like jQuery,Angular, Backbone, React…. List goes on. Day by day java script popularity and usage increasing.
The web browser is one of the most used applications on both desktop and mobile devices. With more and more services moving to the web, JavaScript will only increase in popularity, and as a whole there is a lot of technical innovation going in on JavaScript. Many developers and businesses have used JavaScript to extend their web products outside of the browser, which means JavaScript can be used build simple desktop and mobile apps.
So, I will suggest you to learn JavaScript and play with WEB.
